Empathy in the Chaos

After receiving a cancer diagnosis within our family, we did what most anyone else would do- we went to Google for answers. Each click brought more fear and anxiety for us; not just for the prognosis, but for the lack of answers and inability to “believe everything you read.”

After days that felt like years, we were connected with Dr. Jarod Hershberger who provided insight, honesty, and compassion for us as we navigated a fight against cancer, and a lack of information regarding it. Dr. Hershberger was able to quickly and accurately analyze data and procedures, explaining things in layman’s terms to help put our minds at ease. His empathy is genuine and his care for his clients is unmatched. When we needed Jarod, he was there time and time again. Our family rests easier knowing we have a friend in this field with a heart for serving others.
